Wisdom from Al-Hasan al-Basri: Do good with your wealth

قرأت في تسعين موضعا من القرآن أن الله قدر الأرزاق وضمنها لخلقه وقرأت في موضع واحد: الشيطان يعدكم الفقر... فشككنا في قول الصادق في تسعين
موضعاً و صدقنا قول الكاذب في موضع واحد.

I read at ninety places in the Qur'an that explains that God has set sustenance and have guaranteed it for His creatures. While there is only one place in the Qur'an, where Allah confirms the words of a liar:
"Satan promises you poverty (if you do good with your wealth)."

So we even doubted the promise of Allah The most true (who is impossible broken His promise) at ninety places in the Qur'an, while we believe it is the only promise of the liar (devil). "

Reading this wisdom, I just feel free. No need to feel some attachments to possessions. Alhamdulillah....
